Medical education reform activist Dr Govinda KC says he will continue his fast-unto-death after being released from the police custody following an order of the Supreme Court.
He says the strike will continue till all of his demands are met.
Earlier, after being released by the court, he had told media that he would decide whether to continue the strike today.
“The process has not yet begun to address other demands raised by us,” Dr KC’s aide Dr Jiwan Kshetry says, “Therefore, the hunger strike will continue.”
Dr KC had launched his 14th fast-unto-death on Monday, but was arrested by police on the same day after a contempt of court case was filed against him.
The court had released him yesterday.
