Kathmandu, May 26
Dr Dhundi Raj Bhattarai has been appointed as the new chairperson of the Nepal Water Supply Corporation.
According to Engineer Pramiladevi Shakya Bajracharya, Secretary at the Ministry of Water Supply, Dr Bhattarai was appointed under Clause 8(1.1) of the Nepal Water Supply Corporation Act, 2046 BS (with amendments).
He will serve a three-year term as chairperson of the corporation’s board of directors, as per a ministerial-level decision in accordance with Clause 11(1) of the same Act.
Dr Bhattarai is a permanent resident of Bhumikasthan Municipality-9 in Arghakhanchi district.
