The Nepal Army has imposed a curfew order in the Kathmandu Valley until Friday (September 12).
Issuing a statement on Wednesday, the Army said the curfew order was enforced to safeguard people’s lives and property based on an analysis of the latest security situation.
According to the Army’s Public Relations Directorate, prohibitory orders will be in place on Thursday, September 11, from 10 am to 5 pm.
Similarly, the Army stated that a curfew will be imposed from 7 pm on Thursday, September 11, until 6 am on Friday, September 12.
Even during the prohibitory order and curfew, vehicles providing essential services will be allowed to operate. These include ambulances, hearses, fire engines, health workers, security personnel, journalists, and vehicles transporting food, fuel, milk, vegetables, water, and medicines.
