Court seeks Rs 520,000 bail from TOB Group’s Tenzin in 2 cases

Kathmandu, December 9

Separate bail amounts have been sought in two cases against Tenzin of the TOB group, who is in police custody on charges of inciting the Gen Z movement.

After nearly three months of investigation, the Kathmandu District Police Range submitted the investigation file to the District Government Attorney’s Office. The office registered cases against Tenzin at the Kathmandu District Court on Monday.

A bench of Judge Tej Bahadur Khadka fixed bail at Rs 500,000 for the offence of document forgery and Rs 20,000 in the drug-related case, according to Kathmandu District Court information officer Deepak Kumar Shrestha.

It was stated that the case related to document forgery was filed after citizenship, passport and national identity card obtained by him were found to be forged.
