Seven construction companies blacklisted for three years

The Public Procurement Monitoring Office under the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers has blacklisted seven construction companies. The government blacklisted them after the work they had taken on was found unsatisfactory.

Among those blacklisted is Namadev Nirman Sewa of Bajhang, whose main proprietor is Amrita Mahara. Khatyadi Secondary School of Doti had recommended blacklisting this company.

Similarly, MS Bageshwari Multipurpose Nirman Sewa, whose main proprietor is Shankar Bahadur Pyakurel, along with Ramechhap Construction and Santoshi Nirman Sewa, have also been blacklisted. These companies were recommended for blacklisting by the Ministry of Physical Infrastructure and Urban Development and the Infrastructure Development Directorate, Surkhet.

Likewise, Raman Construction of Dhanusha (main proprietor Pawan Paswan), Sagun Nirman Sewa of Dhanusha (main proprietor Shyam Kishor Sah), and Om Infratech of Lalitpur (main proprietor Uddhav Bhattarai) have also been blacklisted.

These companies were recommended for blacklisting by the Salzhandi-Sandhikharka-Dhorpatan Road Project and the Sandhikharka, Arghakhanchi Road Division.

All these companies have been blacklisted for three years. During the blacklisting period, they will not be allowed to take part in any procurement process of a public entity.
