Janakpur, December 15

Rastriya Janata Party Nepal presidium member and newly elected lawmaker from Dhanusha-3, Rajendra Mahato, says people tired of Nepali Congress’ politics of fear and threat taught a good lesson to the party in recent elections.

Speaking with journalists in Janakpur today, Mahato suggested that the party got what it deserved as the Congress leaders tried to create a sense of fear in voters even before the polls.

He warned that the party would lose further if it failed to rectify its attitude.

In another context, Mahato said Janakpur should be made the capital of Province 2 as it is at the centre of region.

He said his party in partnership with the Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal would form the new government in Province 2.
