Bhairahawa, August 4
Two rounds of fire have been opened targeting a trader in Manigram, Tilottama Municipality of Rupandehi district on Friday.
Operator of Sirisa Marbles, Durgalal Bhandari, however, skipped the attack and is not hurt.
Meanwhile, Manoj Pun, who is accused of murdering CPN-UML youth leader Durga Tiwari, has claimed responsibility of the attack.
Pun, who is currently in Malaysia, says he resorted to the attack after the trader refused to provide him Rs 4 million.
Pun is absconding from police since Tiwari’s murder in December last year.
Further investigation is underway.
