Kathmandu, March 29
The Central Investigation Bureau has started an investigation after two SEE question papers were leaked in Province 2 in as many days.
A team led by a DSP has been assigned to investigate the case. According to officials question papers of Science and Social Studies were leaked via social media in Province 2 on Thursday and Friday.
CIB’s DIG Niraj Shahi confirmed that a CIB team has been deployed. “A team led by a DSP has left for Province 2. The investigation has already begun,” he said.
The CIB was asked to investigate as soon as the Science question paper was leaked on Thursday. However, after another question paper was leaked on Friday, Education Minister Giriraj Mani Pokharel personally asked for the investigation to start at the earliest.
Police officials have said that they will soon nab the culprit and punish him/her according to the law.
