Kathmandu, July 17
Chumbak, a rock band from eastern Nepal, is all set to perform live on Friday, July 19, at Beers N’ Cheers, Jamal, with a new lineup.
While the original members—vocalist Gongba Spikes and guitarists Lav Sherpa and Sahil Sen—remain with the band, the new lineup features Bibek Tamang on bass and Sanjaya Shrestha on drums.
The band will also be doing an acoustic session on August 9 at Bikalpa Art Cafe, Pulchowk, and performing live at Mustang Pub, Pokhara, on August 16.
According to the band manager, Yodin Limbu, Chumbak is set to release a new album this year and is planning a Nepal tour.
