Kathmandu, August 3
China’s ambassador to Nepal Wu Chuntai met Prime Minister-elect Prachanda at his residence in Kathmandu to congratulate him on his victory.
According to Prachanda’s personal secretariat, the envoy congratulated the new Prime Minister on behalf of the Chinese government.
Earlier this week, Prachanda had met Wu and told him that the new government was committed to implementing deals reached with China by the Oli government.
