Child singer Sachin Pariyar passes away

Kathmandu, January 2

Renowned child singer Sachin Pariyar has passed away. He breathed his last at 10:45 am on Thursday while undergoing treatment at Tribhuvan University Teaching Hospital, the hospital confirmed.

The 13-year-old had been receiving intensive care for several days. Sachin had been suffering from health issues since last year, with the lower part of his body being immobile. Although he had undergone surgery and shown some improvement, he was unable to stand on his own.

Sachin, who had appeared on the popular television show Indreni, was struggling to speak during his last public appearance. Known for his viral singing videos on social media, he gained immense popularity as a child artist.

He had also acted alongside actor Rajesh Hamal in a music video and appeared in the comedy series Meri Bassai. Some of his notable songs include Rato Rubber Ek, Rumal Khachha Ki, Ke Chha Ra Hajur, and Barko Chhayale.
