Dhangadhi, February 22
Four persons died when a tipper fell off the road at Jhalimali, Patan municipality-3 of the Baitadi district on Monday afternoon.
Three persons died on the spot whereas one died while being taken to the Dadeldhura Hospital, informs Inspector Rajesh Shahi, the chief of the Patan Area Police Office.
The victims have been identified as Janak Raj Panta (45), Gyanu Bista (13), Lalit Awasthi (17), and Raju Panta (12), all residents of Patan-3, according to police. Three of them are minors.
The tipper (Ba 3 Kha 4879) was going to load some wood there when it fell off the dirt road along the Manikakhan-Bohorigaun section.
The tipper had fallen off the road while the driver was reversing the vehicle.
