Assistant Minister Resham Bahadur Lama makes details of his property public

Assistant Minister for Federal Affairs and Local Development, Resham Bahadur Lama, made details of his property public on Tuesday.

As per the details submitted to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, Lama has a house built within seven ana of land at Kageshwori Manahar municipality. The details state that the house and land are registered in the name of his wife, Menuka Rai.

At Kashikhand municipality, Kavre, Lama owns part of ancestral property comprising 13 ropani of land. There, his mother Dol Kumari Lama has a house registered in her name.

The details show he has 30 tola (1 tola = 11.66 gm) of gold and 200 tola of silver. He has Rs 2 lakh in his bank accounts at Rastriya Banijya Bank Gaushala branch and Rs 5 lakh (savings from his salary and allowances) at Maitidevi branch of Everest Bank.

The details point he has taken loan from Kanti Bhairav Savings and Credit Cooperative in Attarkhel, though there’s no mention of the loan amount. He has Toyota jeep, Honda motorcycle and Dio scooty, all bought with personal income, as per the details.

Minister Lama also owns an A-category Dhukudhu Construction Company.
