Kathmandu, May 31
Nepal Police has conducted a polygraph test on Ashish Chaudhary in connection to the death of Manisha Gharti Magar.
Chaudhary, Magar’s boyfriend, was arrested earlier for interrogation regarding Magar’s death.
For the polygraph test, which lasted for five hours, a two-member team from Pokhara-based Western Regional Police Office, had arrived in Nawalparasi. Chaudhary was taken to Sunwal for the test.
However, the result of the polygraph test has not been made public. The report will be first submitted to Kathmandu for further investigation before it will be made public, Nepal Police said.
The post-mortem report released by TUTH on Tuesday concluded Magar’s death was caused by hanging.
