In Kailali, the armed police seized over Rs 1.85 million worth of illegal goods in 10 days.
A team of Armed Police Force Nepal from headquarters in Kailali also detained four women with illegal goods worth around Rs 800,000 on February 28.
The team seized clothes and various electronic items while they were being brought illegally from India.
Maheshwari Bista, Tulsi Bhatt, Dhana Saud and Gauri Ojha of Dhangadhi who were involved in smuggling goods were arrested, said DSP Khem Thakulla of Armed Police Force Nepal.
According to him, along with this, during the 10 days from February 18 to February 28, illegal goods worth Rs 1.85 million have been seized and handed over to customs for action.
According to the armed police, poultry and fish worth Rs 137,000 were seized and destroyed.
