NARC

Kathmandu, October 29

The Nepal Agricultural Research Council (NARC) has directed all its offices in Khumaltar to submit details of staff quarters and to vacate any that are being used without authorisation.

NARC issued the directive to the concerned offices in a notice. The notice says the step follows a decision of the NARC management meeting held on Wednesday.

The council has asked its Khumaltar offices to provide the central office with full details of the staff quarters currently in use, including the names and positions or levels of the employees living in them. The details must be submitted within three days.

NARC has also given a strict instruction that if any quarters are found to be in unauthorised use, based on the submitted details or during monitoring, they must be vacated within 35 days.

According to the notice, the circular was issued to move ahead with the necessary action in line with the meeting’s decision. A copy has been sent to the Minister for Agriculture, Forests and Environment and NARC Chair Geeta Chaudhary.
