The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has said the date for Prime Minister Balen Shah’s visit to India has not yet been finalised.
Speaking at a press conference at the ministry in Singha Durbar on Friday, ministry spokesperson Lok Bahadur Paudel Chhetri said preparations were underway for the prime minister’s high-level visit.
The visit will take place at a time convenient for both Nepal and India, he said.
The ministry had earlier stated that it was preparing an agenda for the visit, with discussions expected to cover various issues of mutual interest and cooperation between the two countries.
“The prime minister’s visit will take place at a time convenient for both sides. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is continually working on preparations for high-level visits,” Chhetri said. “The date has not yet been finalised. We will inform the public once it is decided.”
Chhetri also said the ministry was working on preparations and agendas for other high-level visits.
