Pedestrian movement has also been restricted along the road section from Uttargaya School to Betrawati under the Galchhi-Rasuwagadhi road project to facilitate track opening work.
The Galchhi-Trishuli-Mailung-Syafrubesi-Rasuwagadhi Road Project said pedestrians will be allowed to pass through the section for only 15 to 20 minutes at two-hour intervals between 6 am and 6 pm.
The project said allowing pedestrians to pass through the work site at any time while track opening is underway has delayed construction work.
The movement of pedestrians has been restricted, citing safety concerns, it said. The project has also urged people not to travel through the section at night.
