Kathmandu, September 27
A windstorm tore off the tin roofs of two houses in Thori Rural Municipality, Parsa.
According to ward chair Ashta Lopchan, the storm struck around midnight, blowing away the roofing, including the ridge structure, of houses belonging to residents Kancha Dumjan and Man Lal Dong in Suvarnapur Aathghare, Thori Rural Municipality-5.
He said the local government would provide the necessary compensation to the affected families.
