Kathmandu, September 22
Police have arrested a man on allegations of hoarding and black-marketing cooking gas. The arrested person has been identified as 47-year-old Saroj Nemkul of Sanagaun, Mahalaxmi Municipality-6, Lalitpur.
A team deployed from the Satdobato Police Circle arrested him, police said.
According to police, Nemkul allegedly removed the seals from gas cylinders at his shop and hid the gas while telling customers that the cylinders were empty.
Police said they recovered two sealed cylinders and 22 unsealed but filled cylinders from Siddhipur Gas Store operated by Nemkul.
