Kathmandu, September 22
Prime Minister Balen Shah is leaving for the USA today, leading a high-level Nepali delegation to attend the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York. PM Shah’s delegation members are his chief advisor Kumar Byanjankar, chief personal secretary Subash Sharma, private secretary Pradeep Pariyar and photographer Binay Shakya, among others. PM Shah is leaving for the USA from Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu, on a Qatar Airways flight at 4:15 pm.
He is scheduled to address the high-level session of the UN General Assembly on September 24. Even the Foreign Minister, Shisir Khanal, is in the PM-led delegation to the UN General Assembly.
PM Shah is scheduled to meet UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres in New York. Shah will return home on September 26. It is the first foreign visit of PM Shah.
