Biratnagar, September 20
Bharat Dahal, a political analyst, has been arrested in Belbari of Morang district.
According to Morang SP Kavit Katuwal, Dahal was arrested from Belbari on Sunday morning.
There is no complaint against Dahal in Morang. He had recently been speaking publicly against the Balen Shah government.
Katuwal said Dahal was arrested based on a complaint filed with the Cyber Bureau.
He said Dahal would be sent to Kathmandu on Sunday. The Cyber Bureau had obtained an arrest warrant against Dahal from the Kathmandu District Court.
Dahal had arrived in Belbari to attend an event. However, police said they had no information about the event.
