Baitadi, September 14
The Road Division Office, Baitadi, has terminated contracts for 10 road projects that had long remained unfinished.
In a notice published Monday, the office said the contracts were terminated because the work had not been completed within the agreed timeframe and had not proceeded according to the contract terms.
The terminated projects include maintenance, upgrading, and road-safety work on the Mahakali Highway, Jayaprithvi Highway, Madhyapahadi Highway, and the Satbanjh–Gokuleshwar–Darchula road, among others.
Information officer Kapil Prasad Panta of the Road Division Office, Baitadi, said the concerned contractors will be recommended for blacklisting, and that performance bonds, deposits, and any outstanding advance amounts will be recovered as per prevailing law.
