Kathmandu, September 6
A man has been arrested on charges of disrupting social harmony by writing statements targeting the Madhesi community.
The arrested individual is 35-year-old Bishal Gurung of Khotang Baksila. He was arrested by a team from the Naya Baneshwar Police Circle. An investigation has been initiated against him under the offence of disturbing public peace.
He had written provocative statements targeting the Madhesi community on public platforms.
