Kathmandu, September 1
A cable crossing has been installed over the Trishuli River to facilitate travel between Ward 1 and Ward 9 of Bidur Municipality in Nuwakot.
The connection between the two wards was cut off following the devastating floods in the Bhotekoshi River on August 26.
The cable crossing was installed on Tuesday morning to make it easier for local residents to travel between the two sides of the river.
Following its installation, people have started using the crossing to travel between the two sides, despite the risks involved.
