Kathmandu, August 28
A Nepal Army team has airlifted 449 people affected by the Rasuwa flood today, Friday.
As of 12:20 pm, 449 people, including 13 Indian and 4 German nationals, had been rescued by helicopter. A total of 4,500 Nepal Army personnel have been deployed across all flood-affected districts for the rescue operation.
The Army said it continues to carry out search and rescue of the injured, emergency treatment, and distribution of relief supplies.
