Nepali feature film Gauthali has crossed Rs 250 million in gross earnings at the domestic box office. As of Sunday afternoon, the total gross of the Kapil Rijal-directed film surpassed the Rs 250 million mark.
The film’s net collection stands at Rs 218.4 million.
Over the same period, the film has been watched by more than 908,000 viewers. Based on a story about women’s struggle and emotion, the film stars Simran Khadka and Arun Kshetri in lead roles. It has become the second highest-grossing Nepali film of all time.
The film has already been screened in Nepal as well as in the US, Europe, the Middle East, and Australia. On Sunday, it held a grand premiere in Tokyo, Japan.
The producers are preparing to announce a new film on the occasion of the 51st day since its release.
