Kathmandu, August 17
A dry landslide near Chalise, close to Gajuri in Dhading, has blocked both directions of the Prithvi Highway along the Nagdhunga-Muglin road section.
Dhading Police say the landslide fell around 5:45 am on Monday, blocking traffic in both directions. According to police, a dozer from the under-construction road project is currently being used to clear the debris and reopen the road.
The blockage has caused long queues of vehicles both entering and leaving Kathmandu.
