A person has gone missing, and two others were injured after a landslide buried a house following torrential rain at Tamsu in Triveni Municipality-9 in Bajura district. The Information Officer of the District Police Office, Naresh Bahadur Shahi, confirmed that two people were injured in the incident.
The landslide buried the houses of Dharma Thapa and Karna Bahadur Thapa of Tamsu in the municipality. Ward Chairperson of Triveni Municipality-9, Nanda Thapa, shared that they have faced difficulties in carrying out a search for the missing person and rescuing the injured people, citing torrential rain.
Currently, a team of police personnel under the command of the Chief of the District Police Office, Shaileshwori Bohara, reached the site for rescue operations.
