Three Indian nationals have been arrested for carrying 11 kg of marijuana from Thailand.
Those arrested are 30-year-old Sonu and 23-year-old Jagroop Singh, both residents of Punjab, India, and 22-year-old Sahil from Haryana. They were arrested by a team from the Narcotics Control Bureau, Koteshwar.
On Saturday night, two of the Indian nationals arrived at Tribhuvan International Airport via a Cathay Pacific Airways flight from Thailand, transiting through Hong Kong. Another Indian national had come to the airport to receive the marijuana they had brought.
Police arrested all three and have proceeded with an investigation into drug-related charges.
