The price of gold fell sharply by Rs 5,800 per tola on Friday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 285,500 per tola for the day, down from Rs 291,300 per tola on the previous trading day.
Gold had reached its all-time high of Rs 339,000 per tola on Magh 15 (January 28) this year.
Meanwhile, the price of silver also declined by Rs 155 per tola compared to the previous day. Silver, which was traded at Rs 4,505 per tola on Thursday, has been fixed at Rs 4,350 per tola on Friday.
