Kathmandu, June 7
Gold and silver prices fell sharply on Sunday, according to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association. The price of gold declined by Rs 8,200 per tola, dropping from Rs 309,000 per tola on the previous trading day to Rs 300,800 per tola.
A week ago, on Sunday, gold was traded at Rs 311,100 per tola. Similarly, the price of silver fell by Rs 335 per tola. Silver, which was priced at Rs 5,230 per tola on the previous trading day, dropped to Rs 4,895 per tola on Sunday.
The price of silver had stood at Rs 5,345 per tola on the corresponding day last week.
