Kathmandu, March 19
The price of gold fell by Rs 5,400 per tola in a single day on Thursday. The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association has set the price of gold at Rs 302,300 per tola for the day.
On the previous day, gold was traded at Rs 307,700 per tola. Gold prices have been declining over the past few weeks. On Magh 15, gold had reached an all-time high of Rs 339,300 per tola.
Similarly, the price of silver decreased by Rs 140 per tola. Silver, which was priced at Rs 5,150 per tola the previous day, has been fixed at Rs 5,010 per tola.
Silver had also reached its highest-ever price of Rs 7,505 per tola on Magh 15.
