Gold price falls by Rs 1,100 per tola

The price of gold dropped by Rs 1,100 per tola on Wednesday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold has been fixed at Rs 237,200 per tola for Wednesday, down from Rs 238,300 the previous day. Gold had already dropped by Rs 1,400 per tola on Tuesday.

In total, the price of gold has fallen by Rs 2,500 over the past two days. From its record high, the price has now decreased by Rs 20,800 per tola. Gold had reached a record of Rs 258,000 per tola on October 17.

The price of silver also fell by Rs 25 per tola on Wednesday, dropping to Rs 2,990 from Rs 3,015 the previous day. From its record high of Rs 3,350 per tola on October 17, silver has now declined by Rs 360.
