Several international flights were diverted on Thursday due to adverse weather conditions.
According to the Tribhuvan International Airport Office, a Nepal Airlines flight arriving from Doha, Qatar, was diverted to New Delhi, India.
Similarly, an Air India flight from Delhi was diverted to Lucknow, while another flight of IndiGo Airlines from Delhi was also diverted back to Delhi, the airport authority said.
Domestic flights have also been affected. Morning flights scheduled for Lukla were canceled due to poor visibility, preventing smooth takeoffs and landings.
