Kathmandu, October 27
The price of gold has dropped by Rs 2,000 per tola on Monday.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has been fixed at Rs 239,900 per tola for the day. On Sunday, it was Rs 241,900 per tola.
Previously, the price of gold had already decreased by Rs 11,600 per tola. Since Tihar, the price of gold has fallen by Rs 13,600 per tola. Earlier, on October 17, the price of gold had reached a record high of Rs 258,000 per tola.
The price of silver has also declined by Rs 35 per tola. The federation said silver, which was traded at Rs 3,015 per tola on Sunday, has dropped to Rs 2,980 today.
