Gold price jumps Rs 2,000, silver also sees rise

Kathmandu, October 16

The price of gold has hit a new record in the domestic market today. It surged by Rs 2,000 per tola (11.66 grams), reaching Rs 250,900 per tola.

According to the Federation of Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of silver has been fixed at Rs 3,275 per tola today, up from Rs 3,240 on Wednesday.

On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 248,900 per tola.
