Kathmandu, May 2
The government has presented its policy and programme for the upcoming fiscal year. President Ramchandra Paudel unveiled the document while addressing the joint session of the Federal Parliament.
The policy and programme include key commitments such as passing the School Education Act within the current session, implementing reservoir-based hydropower projects to prevent electricity shortages and reduce imports, and promoting startups with a focus on the younger generation.
Additionally, this year’s policy and programme have renamed all projects previously listed under the names of the President and Prime Minister.
