Kathmandu, September 19
A motorcyclist was killed after being hit by a truck on the Bishnumati Corridor road in Mhepi, Ward 16 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.
The accident occurred on Wednesday night when a mini-truck with the license plate Ba 4 Kha 8685 struck a motorcycle with the license plate Ga 14 Pa 6443.
The motorcyclist, identified as 25-year-old Binod Khadka from Baglung Municipality-12, Baglung, died during treatment at the Trauma Center, according to the police.
Another passenger on the motorcycle was injured and is currently undergoing treatment at the Trauma Center. The truck driver has been taken into police custody.
