Kathmandu, October 5
A man died in a motorbike accident in Kaushaltar, Madhyapur Thimi municipality-3 of the Bhaktapur district on Monday night.
The victim has been identified as Lok Nath Thakur (30), a resident of Harinathgunj, Parsa. He was riding his two-wheeler (Na 3 Pa 6673) when he lost control over the vehicle and hit a roadside railing along the Araniko Highway at around 11 pm.
Seriously injured in the accident, he was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he breathed his last, according to police.
The pillion rider, Siyaram Singh, a resident of Birgunj, Parsa, sustained critical injuries. He is a Nepal Police staffer and is undergoing treatment at the Nepal Police Hospital in Kathmandu.
