The provincial government has announced a public holiday in Karnali on Thursday, on the occasion of Saaune Sankranti and Deuda festival.
A notice issued by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Law has stated that the holiday will be implemented in all 10 districts of the province.
A meeting of the Provincial Council of Ministers on May 25 had decided seven different holidays in the Nepali year 2077, including Sahid Diwas, Maghe Sankranti, Chaite Dashain, among others.
