
Kathmandu, June 1
The Ministry of Home Affairs has transferred chief district officers of 13 districts of the country.
The ministry on Monday says it transferred 44 joint secretaries and undersecretaries on Sunday.
As per the decision, CDOs of Surkhet, Palpa, Mahottari, Kalikot, Doti, Bardiya, Darchula, Okhaldhunga, Sankhuwasabha, Rolpa, Humla, Bajhang, and Baitadi have been transferred to different duty stations.
Sources in the ministry say the CDOs who already spent more than one year in a district have been transferred.
Some of them were transferred based on their work performance also.
