Kathmandu, October 21
Police have arrested three persons on the charge of printing fake notes from Naya Basti in Bouddha. They have also confiscated the machine.
A police team raided the house where the people were printing money based on a tip-off. Police say it has also confiscated fake notes amounting to Rs 35,000 from them.
DSP Hobindra Bogati from Kathmandu Metropolitan Police confirmed that the police had arrested three persons with a printing machine. Bogati, however, didn’t mention the names of those arrested.
According to DSP Bogati, officials are investigating the case.
