Conspiracies afoot to disrupt peace process: Dahal

Pushpa Kamal Dahal

Kathmandu, July 5

Nepal Communist Party co-chair Pushpa Kamal Dahal said that various groups were conspiring to disrupt the peace process.

Speaking at a programme in Kathmandu on Friday, Dahal said that such practices would only create more problems for the country.

“There are many who have been regularly going to Europe to disrupt the peace process. This is wrong. We’ve taken a lot of effort to reach where were are. Everyone should come together for the sake of the country,” said Dahal.

Dahal also urged his former partner Baburam Bhattarai to join Nepal Communist Party. Dahal also urged Mohan Baidya, Chitra Bahadur KC, Mohan Bikram Singh, and Narayan Man Bijukche to join his party.

He said he was willing to respect all leaders in the party. “The thought of how to bring all of them (the aforementioned leaders) together keeps me up at night. They need to tell us what they want from our party,” added Dahal.
