A wide body aircraft of the national flag carrier, National Airlines Corporation, got stuck on the taxiway of the Tribhuvan International Airport on Tuesday afternoon, affecting flights at the country’s sole international airport for around one hour.
The aircraft, named Annapurna, stopped halfway as the tow vehicle bar leading the aeroplane to the hangar from the runway suffered a breakdown, according to officials.
“It forced us to stop all flights for around one hour,” an official informs.
The service resumed after the aircraft was towed to the hangar.
