Kathmandu, January 26
President Bidya Devi Bhandari has, on the recommendation of the Council of Ministers, appointed Rhishiram Ghimire, Nepal’s ambassador to the Russian Federation, the non-resident envoy for the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Likewise, the Head of State appointed Nepali Ambassador for the Arab Republic of Egypt, Jhabindra Prasad Aryal, as the non-resident envoy for Jordan and Nepal’s Ambassador for Canada, Kali Prasad Pokhrel, as the non-resident ambassador for Jamaica, the Office of the President said.
The appointments were made in accordance with the Article 282 (1) of the Nepal’s constitution.
