Kathmandu, October 23
Qatari Police have arrested Non-Resident Nepali Association (NRNA) Middle-east Coordinator, RK Sharma, on Tuesday.
NRNA Spokesperson Bhusan Ghimire confirmed the arrest. “The reason for Sharma’s arrest has not been disclosed,” he added.
He speculated that Sharma could have been held for staging a play on the issue of exploitation of Nepali labourers at a programme in Doha recently.
