Rukumkot, January 9
Four individuals were injured when a SUV met with an accident at Dharapani, Ward No. 5 of Sisne Rural Municipality, along the Mid-Hill Highway in Rukum East.
The accident occurred at around 3:30 am on Thursday when the SUV, bearing registration number Ga 1 Ja 7108, was traveling from Pokhara to Rukumkot, the district headquarters of Rukum East.
According to DSP Madhav Kharel of the Rukum East District Police Office, the injured include 22-year-old Prem Kami and 21-year-old driver Jutes Sherpali, both from Putha Uttarganga Rural Municipality-5, Rukum East, as well as 18-year-olds Sarparaj Deva and Chand Kumar Deva, both from Bara district.
The accident occurred after one of the SUV’s tires came off.
The injured were taken to the District Hospital in Rukum East for treatment. Following initial treatment, two of the victims were referred to Musikot Khalanga in Rukum West for further medical care.
