The Fan Edition of the Galaxy Buds from Samsung, the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE is coming soon to Nepal. The earbuds were launched alongside the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE. The S23 FE has received significant attention for its flagship experience in the price range.

The Buds FE is the first fan edition Galaxy Buds with some good features. It has already received a good response and competes with other flagship earbuds in the international market. It has features such as ANC, decent battery performance and comfortable design.

Design

The design of the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE is very similar to the Samsung Galaxy Buds and the Buds Pro. Like its elder siblings, it has a sleek and small design language with silicon tips at the top also called the Wingtip design. The design and the fit is quite good. On the front side, there is a touch-sensitive part which can be used to control functions such as pause, play and next.

The earbuds are light each weighing 5.6 grams. The charging case is also light at 40 grams. The design of the case is also traditional which flips up from the sides and has a Type-C port for charging. The overall design and fit along with the IPX2 rating helps protect the buds from minor splashes.

Audio and Features

The Samsung Galaxy Buds FE has decent features to enhance your listening experience. With Active Noise Cancellation, it blocks out background noise for uninterrupted enjoyment. You can also switch to Ambient Sound mode to stay aware of your surroundings. Users can customize their sound with the equalizer to match their preferences perfectly. For calls, these earbuds have three microphones per earbud for clear communication and a voice pickup unit that reduces wind noise. The one-way speaker also enhances the audio quality with bass and clarity.

On the connectivity front, it features Bluetooth 5.2 for a stable wireless connection. The Buds FE can control the music and calls with touch controls, and with the convenience of auto ear detection, which pauses music when the earbuds are removed and resumes when placed back in. Plus, with SmartThings Find, users can easily locate lost earbuds using the app. There is also an auto switch function with which the buds can switch automatically to the other device for example while using one smartphone and then switch to another device in sync.

Battery

The Samsung Galaxy Buds FE has a 60mAh battery capacity, while the charging case has a 479mAh capacity. With Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) on, users can enjoy up to 6 hours of playtime, extending to a total of 21 hours when using the charging case. With ANC off, the playtime increases to up to 8.5 hours, reaching a total of 30 hours with the charging case. For talk time, users can expect up to 3.5 hours with ANC on, and a total of up to 13 hours including the charging case. With ANC off, talk time increases to 4 hours, with a total of up to 14 hours when considering the charging case.

The Samsung Galaxy Buds FE comes in two colour options; Graphite and Mystic White.

As for the pricing, the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE is set to cost around Rs 14,000 in Nepal.
