Around 2.5 million people have travelled via Tribhuvan International Airport (TIA) in the first seven months of 2023.
According to the TIA, 2,512,810 people travelled through Nepal’s busiest international airport in between January and July.
TIA said 1,368,337 flew out from Nepal while 1,144,473 flew into Nepal in the past seven months.
TIA said the airport saw 17,625 flights in the first seven months of 2023.
During this period, 13,053 tons of cargo have been transported by air. It said 6,412 tons of goods have gone abroad.
